Projection of one vector on another for JEE

Formula

\(\operatorname{proj}_{\vec{b}}\vec{a}=\left(\dfrac{\vec{a}\cdot\vec{b}}{|\vec{b}|^2}\right)\vec{b}\)

Variables: \(\vec{a}\) is projected on \(\vec{b}\).

Conditions: \(\vec{b}\neq\vec{0}\).
