Determining areas of the regions bounded by simple curves in standard forms
Formula
\[\text{Total Area}=2\times \text{Area of one symmetric part}\quad \text{or}\quad 4\times \text{Area of one quadrant part}\]
Conditions: Use only when the region is symmetric about an axis or the origin.
Circles, parabolas, ellipses, and symmetric bounded regions.
