Definition of an ordinary differential equation for JEE

Ordinary differential equations, their order and degree

Formula

\(F(x,y,y',y'',\dots,y^{(n)})=0\)

Variables: \(x\) is the independent variable, \(y\) is the dependent variable, and \(y',y'',\dots,y^{(n)}\) are derivatives of \(y\) with respect to \(x\).

Conditions: Only one independent variable is involved.
